Children can teach us a thing or two...  
Children laugh about 400 times a day, while adults laugh on average only 15 times a day.

Extensive reseach research has shown that laughter is infact the best medicine. More and more the medical field is confirming that laughter can aid in lowering blood pressure, boosting the immune system, and helps to reduce stress hormones. Laughter can do all this while triggering the release of endorphins, which is the body’s natural way of supressing pain. Research has also shown that laughing increases levels of T-cells which fight infaction. Laughter is also shown to raise levels of a protein called Gamma-interferon and B-cells which fight dicease and produce antibodies that assists in the healing process.

So take a lesson from the little ones in your life laughter plays an intricate role in not only your happines but in your good health!!! Finding laughter every day is the good for you medicine we can all enjoy. Have a good laugh today!

  2. it really does...i think we should change that old saying from "an apple a day"...to "a laugh a day helps keep the doctor away" have a laughter filled day :D

  3. I read something about this just recently and was so shocked to see the 15 times a day but after I thought about it I realized it's true. I think I laugh more than that though because my husband and my furbabies always make me laugh!

  4. i'm sure you're right... isabella & angel must keep you giggling then add your sweet sadie into the mix - that's a recipe for some endorphin growing, B-cell making and Gamma interferon producing good times! you gotta love 'em!!!
