Several years ago I had been stricken with a bout of bells palsy...the left side of my face was paralysed  for about 6 weeks. Each week after the first 2, the symptoms continued to subside slowly. 95% of the paralysis completely left my face...still a bit of a drooping eyelid & lip when fatigue or stress settles in. My left eardrum however has suffered permanent damage. This paralysis has made certain tones in sound painful, but about a year ago while working I was in a bit of a feisty mood after a rough several days and I "cranked up the volume" way past my usual comfort zone.  I made a wonderful discovery...a group the I have LOVED forever didn't cause my ear the same pain that so many others do...a new passion for LOUD music, a new inspiration was found in...

I LOVE it when inspiration can come to us at the most simple, quiet and calm times of life!!! This video is a fabulous example of that! I am so thankful the CurlyMonkeyMama mentioned this blogger from Helsinki Finland on her facebook page.

when i saw this i was blown away for too many reason to list here...

yes those gorgeous twin boys are my nephews Jacob & Joshua SO obviously i'm already a huge fan, but when i sat and listened to them i was amazed by their unbelievable natural talent. it's a great song & their friend Chad wrote the lyrics but what they didn't mention was that Jacob wrote the music and Joshua is the lead singer and both are self taught. no music lessons, no singing lessons, they are just gifted by God to create and so they do, beautifully. they follow their passions and make them happen! these two guys have been inspiring me for 17 years and today is no different! please take a minute to listen and leave a comment that i can share with them, it would mean so much.

My left eardrum however has suffered slight permanent damage. Well this past Sunday afternoon while working, I was listening to music as I usually do. A certain setting on the volume dial is what is most comfortable for my ear which no longer has the ability to muffle certain tones...but because I was in a bit of a feisty mood after a rough several days I "cranked up the volume" way past the comfort zone.  I made a wonderful discovery...a group the I have LOVED forever didn't cause my ear the same pain that so many others do...a new passion for LOUD music, a new inspiration was found in...
