Attention new parents; your little bundle of joy on average is depriving each of you around 350-400 hours of sleep in the first year. If you're a single parent those numbers almost double to about 600-750 hours in the first year. When you do a little calculation that is about one entire nights sleep per week, 52 sleepless nights in the first year. If you ask most any parent...it's worth every lost second of sleep.
