My beloved mom is having out patient back surgery today. This is her 3rd in less than 7 months. Praying for God's total healing and when I'm looking for His Angels this photo inspires me...

I took some time to this weekend to play in the yard! I spotted these beauties outside on Saturday - as more & more blooms appear they are a happy inspiration for me.

Here in Michigan we have been having some cooky up & down temps BUT finally Spring is springing....

...and the lilacs outside my office window are bountiful this year!!! The fragrance coming in the through the screen inspires such a relaxed feeling while I'm working!!!

I've seen this fantastic bird several times and saw it featured on program again last night!

It is still fascinates me as much as it did the first time I saw it!!!

Several years ago I had been stricken with a bout of bells palsy...the left side of my face was paralysed  for about 6 weeks. Each week after the first 2, the symptoms continued to subside slowly. 95% of the paralysis completely left my face...still a bit of a drooping eyelid & lip when fatigue or stress settles in. My left eardrum however has suffered permanent damage. This paralysis has made certain tones in sound painful, but about a year ago while working I was in a bit of a feisty mood after a rough several days and I "cranked up the volume" way past my usual comfort zone.  I made a wonderful discovery...a group the I have LOVED forever didn't cause my ear the same pain that so many others do...a new passion for LOUD music, a new inspiration was found in...

As fall approaches I try to spend more & more time taking in what's left of the beautiful blooms in my yard. This year my roses have been particularly happy and continue to bloom & bloom & bloom again. I just love watching them, and I'm inspired by their persistence, beauty & vigor!!!

My life has been so busy lately, i've been caring for mom, household things and trying to keep up with Mini-Mocs orders all on VERY little sleep...needless to say i've been feeling the strain of life's pressures. this past weekend something happened that hasn't in quite some time...my husband took my hand and sat me down across from him and simply looked into my eyes, he didn't say a word, he just looked! it lasted for only a minute but in that moment i felt calm, peace, comforted & loved. with that simple look i knew everything was going to be okay. he gave me the inspiration i needed to continue doing what i needed to do.

Sunday was the first chance i've had in my sewing room in a while! sitting at my sewing table creating while looking out the window onto the yard felt really perfect. it was an inspirational feeling i've been missing lately!
